THE Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has disengaged
the services of four permanent secretaries from the employment of the
state.
The affected permanent secretaries were those of the Ministries of
Youth and Sport, Works and Transport, Mr Kunle Aderogba; Lands and
Housing, Mr Seye Laoye; Environment, Y.K Adisa, and Justice, Mr Oladapo
Oladosun and the Permanent Secretary for Oyo State Road Maintenance
Agency, A.O Adeyemi.
They were said to have been asked to quit last week Thursday with more of them slated for sack.
When Saturday Tribune contacted the Permanent Secretary in the Works
and Transport Ministry, Mr Kunle Aderogba, to confirm the development,
he simply said, “I have no comment on that, please.”
