For the first time in a very long time, rather than the usual damaging tales that has come to be associated with the former star of ‘Celebrity Takes Two’ dance show, good news is indeed emanating from her camp. The Edo State-born Yoruba movie actress, Fathia Balogun, recently clinched a deal said to be worth millions of naira, as the face/ambassador of Suru group of companies. The company has interests in banking, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing etc. The essence of the title which was bestowed on her by the group’s chairman and CEO, Mr. Edward Akinlade in a lavish ceremony held in Lagos last week, is to seek unity, peace and progress, which the company believes Fathia’s popularity will help to achieve.
