ROAD CONSTRUCTION FACTS: 4 years Placed side by side, AGAGU wallops MIMIKO

The Olusegun Mimiko government is rounding up its final four years. It is therefore appropriate to compare it with Olusegun Agagu’s first 4 years as the state gets ready for the October 2012 election.

3 ½ years of Mimiko (Feb 2009-Till Date):
1. Arakale Road ( on going) – Caveat, the road was in excellent condition before Dr. Segun Mimiko decided to rebuild the existing good road.
2. Re asphalt of Adesida Road (on going) – Caveat, the road was in excellent condition before Dr. Segun Mimiko decided to rebuild the existing good road.
3. Completed some of the road project embarked upon by Dr. Olusegun Agagu

a. the Ondo Road dualization project to Cathedra Church started and paid for by Agagu was completed after it was initially abandoned

This Agagu bridge was the critical road link that historically enabled people of the littoral part of Ondo State to visit land for the first time. Some of the people could only show their car keys to their parents as evidence of their owning a vehicle before this project.
