Nigeria’s
Falconets are determined to go all out for victory against the USA in
the semi final stage of the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup on Tuesday.
The team’s Media Officer, Ejiro Femi-Babafemi said the players have resolved to give their best to reach another final.
“The
girls are not afraid of any team. They don’t fear any foes. The girls
did not prepare well for the final against Germany in the last edition
but this time round they’ve prepared for any big game. This showed in
their last game against Mexico. They are ready to face any team,”
Femi-Babafemi said.
The
Falconets played for 120 minutes to claim a 1-0 victory over Mexico on
Thursday but Ejiro revealed that the girls have been attended to by the
team’s physiotherapist, stressing that fatigue won’t affect them against
 USA
“The
team psychologists addressed the players and told them that they have
all it takes to beat any team. Again, the team physiotherapist attended
to them and seriously worked on their fitness to get them ready for
Tuesday’s game. They won’t be affected by fatigue.”
Femi-Babafemi
also revealed that the Falconets’ technical crew watched Friday's
quarter-final match between the United States and Korea DPR.
