Election petition: Wada, Awoniyi express optimism

The Idris Wada and Yomi Awoniyi Campaign Organisation, at the weekend, said that the Bayelsa’s judgment was a foretaste of what to expect when judgment was eventualy delivered in the case involving incumbent Governor Wada and his challenger, Alhaji Jibrin Isah.
Isah, winner of the January 2011 primary election of the PDP held in Kogi State, is in the Federal High Court, Abuja division, challenging the validity of Wada’s candidature, who emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the rescheduled primary election held in September 2011.
The  spokesperson of the Wada/Awoniyi Campaign organisation and former Special Assistant to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo on Special Duties, Chief Tunde Olusunle, while speaking with newsmen on Sunday, said  that Dickson’s victory was a shared victory for Wada in the waiting.
