Kwara United top striker, Kabir Sanusi has said that the teams’ slim  1-0 loss to Shooting Stars of Ibadan mid-week at the Lekan Salami  Stadium was due to hard luck.
Sanusi told Inside Out Premier League after the game that he and his  colleagues played well but their host were bent on picking three points  from the game.
“We played well today but couldn’t find the back of the net due to  hard luck. 3SC played as wounded lion that needs survival,” Sanusi said.
On the spirit with which 3SC played the game, the forceful striker  said, “Shooting Stars did well today, I don’t know why they have been  playing badly all this while. I don’t think it is because there is a new  coach that is why they played this way. I feel it’s because of were  they are on the log,”
On the team’s weekend tie against another south west team, Rising  Stars, Sanusi said, “We are prepared for the game as we have been  looking ahead of it, given the fact that they are one of the teams that  gained promotion from the lower ranks last season. So we know we must  win the tie else, we will not be taken serious by other top teams,” he  added.
