Emenike hits 10 seconds goal

HISTORY MAKER •Scores Russian Premier League 2nd fastest goal •Ahmed Musa plays for 3 mins
NIGERIA’S Emmanuel Emenike created history in Spartak Moscow’s colours after scoring a 10-second opener, the second fastest goal in the history of the Russian Premier League in the 2-1 away win over Alania on Saturday.
The previous fastest ever goal in the Russian top flight was scored by Alexey Bychkov in 1999. Then playing for FC Shinnik Yaroslavl, Bychkov got on the score-sheet after nine seconds.
Emenike, fired Spartak into the driver’s seat from close range via Artem Dzyuba's pass into the area when the match was just 10secs old to show their intent of grabbing a 10th domestic title this season.
The hosts replied positively, pinning Emenike and his Spartak pals back and pulled level 13 minutes later through midfielder Arsen Khubulov, who fired a rebound into the net after a corner.
But Spartak managed to score the winning goal with just four minutes of regular time when Alania defender Anton Grigoriev sent the ball into his own net in an attempt to clear Pavel Yakovlev's cross.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Musa's CSKA Moscow made a winning start to the new Russian Premier League season beating visitors Rostov 1-0 on Saturday.
CSKA looked confident in the first half, keeping Rostov 'keeper Stipe Pletikosa on his toes under the watchful gaze of Russia's new national manager, Fabio Capello, but failed to break the deadlock before the break.
The Red Army side’s Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia, who topped the league's scoring charts last season, netted the winner in the 54th minute, firing home from eight metres on his Latvian teammate Aleksander Cauna's precise left-wing cross.
The Ivorian hitman was given a deserved rest when he was substituted in the 90th minute by Ahmed Musa who tasted action for only 3 added minutes.
