I'am watching Amosun's govt - Daniel
...Breaks silence on EFFC's trial

One year after leaving office, former Ogun Statet governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel on Sunday broke his silence over the administration of his successor, Senator Ibikune Amosun, saying he is closely " watching" and "monitoring" it.
"Everything appears to be in utter confusion. I believe it is in midst of utter confusion solutions normally come. Solution will come  to our people. This is the first time of speaking publicly since I left office. I deliberately chose to keep quiet.
"Democracy has made it possible for structure to be put  in place. It is important that the new structure is left to perform. I will  keep my mouth shut, we are watching and  monitoring and Ogun people are monitoring. As I have always said, God is in control," Daniel said.
Daniel who made the remarks in Ijebu - Ode at the 50th birthday celebration of his former Information and Orientation Commissioner, Mr. Sina Kawonise, reckoned that his current unwarranted travails and "persecution," especially in the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) may not be unconnected with his daring to "rights the wrongs" in the Gateway State.
He recalled that the pantheon of the yoruba politics, late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Ayo Adebanjo were at one point in their lives persecuted, even driven to either prison or exile because they summoned courage to "right the wrongs in the society."
According to him,  despite the fact that his "administration faced the biggest probe," he is yet to see "where the Ogun State kobo is either missing or stolen."
