AHEAD of Saturday’s rerun election in Unit 003, Oturu Opowuro E Ward of Ogori/Magongo, Kogi State House of Assembly, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has detected 116 cases of multiple registration.
About 45 cases of registrations by non-indegenes from Ibillo and Lampese, Edo State, were discovered.
It was discovered that 430 people were duly registered in Unit 003 for the election.

It will be recalled that Mr Gabriel Odawudu repesenting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), won the election, but was annulled by the election petition tribunal sitting in Lokoja, after the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Mr Ayedun Abiodun, challenged the result of the election.
Mr Abiodun has called on the state security agencies to kindly beef up security during the election.
Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday, ahead of Saturday’s rerun election, he said he prayed for a free and fair election.
