The Chairman of Oyo West Local Government, Oyo State, Hon Adesoji Ojoawo, has said it will be difficult for any party to take Oyo State from the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Ojoawo, while reviewing what he has done in the last seven months, said the advice of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, and the support of the Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi to the caretaker committee chairmen in the state had really helped in administering the council.
He said the ACN programmes had touched the life of everybody in Oyo State.
He said: “We’ve been able to tar four different roads to specifications. We also started coaching classes for all our pupils. We’ve also improved the welfare of workers here. Salaries are being paid at the right time.”
